Outlook email reporting instructions
Step 1: Select the suspicious email to open in a separate window or the "Reading Pane"
- Do not click any links or attachments within the email.
Step 2: Open Report Message menu
- Click Home
- Click Report Message
Step 3: Select which report type to submit.
- Report as Junk to add sender to a list and to block the sender from your inbox. The Junk Email Filter lets you control what is considered spam.
- Select Not Junk If an email is sent to the Junk Folder that is not Spam to add the sender to the safe list.
- Phishing email is a fraudulent email that appears to be legitimate but is actually an attempt to steal money or personal information. Usually disguised as an internal email or sent from a vendor/customer.
